Hello everyone! Not much to say about this week. Just happy and blessed to still be up here in Calgary! I'm so grateful that I get to stay here alongside Elder Choi. Elder Johnson has since joined our companionship making us the last 3 mandarin missionaries! We are staying nice and busy with online finding, online teaching appointments, online member lessons, and online english lessons! (the neighbors wifi across the hall is saving us!) We are continuing to receive emails from President Keung almost daily, letting us know what we need to do to keep us and others safe. Just last night we basically got put into complete quarantine (but we can still go on walks and to the grocery store...) Honestly super weird time but a good time to be a missionary!
Just want to make sure you're all ready for General Conference! Remember what President Nelson said. It is going to be "Unforgettable" and not like any other General Conference. I think that was an understatement. The world is in such turmoil, not a better time to listen to the words of a prophet!
I want to challenge each of you to pick out your favorite talk from General Conference, write a little bit about why it's your favorite, and share it on your favorite social media site! Each of us can benefit someone who needs some spiritual enlightenment. Like David A Bednar said, "We can turn the trickle [of social media missionary work] in to a flood!" Get out there to help the world be immersed in the beautiful light of the Gospel!
