Hey everyone! Life's good up here in Calgary. Things are okay, I don't have any connection to the news on social media (other than Facebook) so I really couldn't tell you how things are lol. Sorry to hear the US is rioting, hope things get better soon!! Just beyond grateful to be on a mission at this time!
Been doing tons of preparation and adjustments to the ESL page to get that up and running! President Keung still has a vision to make it the most successful English class page in Calgary. Still getting tons of other missionaries on board so we can have a constant flow of solid content! So excited to see the success we will have:)
Still having tons of ESL lessons throughout the week. A few of our students have requested to meet more often. Been seeing alot of success bringing up the gospel normally and naturally! We have 3 people that are getting pretty close to being on date too! Can't wait to see how they progress and come closer to Christ.
Here's a quick scripture that might bring you some peace in these crazy times, from D&C 58:2-4
For verily I say unto you, blessed is he that keepeth my commandments, whether in life or in death; and he that is faithful in tribulation, the reward of the same is greater in the kingdom of heaven.
Ye cannot behold with your natural eyes, for the present time, the design of your God concerning those things which shall come hereafter, and the glory which shall follow after much tribulation.
For after much tribulation come the blessings. Wherefore the day cometh that ye shall be crowned with much glory; the hour is not yet, but is nigh at hand.
Everything is going to be alright! Remember "There is Peace in Christ, when we learn of him" learn of him. Understand how he would act in each situation and emulate that. Show an unconditional love for those around you!
